The local rules
BC-legal e-bikes (≤500 W, ≤32 km/h, functional pedals, pedal-assist mode) are allowed on streets, bike lanes, the seawall and park paths after an April 2024 Park Board change — but a 15 km/h limit applies on the Stanley Park seawall, False Creek path and Seaside Greenway, throttle-only is prohibited, and sidewalks are off-limits.
