Riding Quebec City.
The local rules
Quebec's Highway Safety Code treats an e-bike as a bicycle if it has a motor ≤500 W, assist cutoff at 32 km/h and working pedals; helmets are mandatory and riders must be 18+ (or 14–17 with a Class 6D moped licence). Some municipal and SÉPAQ-park trails impose stricter rules.

How it rides
A growing four-season réseau cyclable anchored by the waterfront Corridor du Littoral and the Corridor des Cheminots, with the province-wide Route verte passing through and the RTC's àVélo e-bike share helping with the hills.
